Last week, we rekindled our love affair with Michelin's Bib Gourmand, when we received the fabulous news that we are one of twenty NEW recipients of this coveted accolade across UK & Ireland. Bib is short for Bibendum (the Michelin Man's real name) and Gourmand is a proper foodie, en Français. WHAT IS THE BIB GOURMAND The exact criteria for any of Michelin's awards is a closely guarded secret - but the Bib stands for "good quality, good value cooking". Bib eateries are found across the world, from Paris to Tokyo, Manhattan to Milan, and now Witham on the Hill, Lincolnshire. As a family business, we have previous with this particular award - receiving it thirteen times now, in our twenty-three year history.
